Planner Exhibitions, a company specialized in developing major professional platforms for the real estate, living, and sports infrastructure sectors, announces the appointment of Santiago Herreros de Tejada as Managing Partner, reinforcing its executive structure at a time of expansion, internationalization, and project diversification.
The appointment also marks the return to Planner Exhibitions of an executive who previously worked at the company between 2003 and 2008. During that period, he led the international department and the network of sector alliances in more than 50 countries, as well as the development of international commercial networks that strengthened the global reach of Planner’s events.
Over the past 17 years, Herreros de Tejada has built his career at Grupo Sociedad de Tasación, where he has held various executive roles linked to international relations, the Marketing and Communications area, and, more recently, the leadership of Business Development in the investment segment.

In this new stage, Herreros de Tejada will contribute to consolidating the leadership of SIMA—celebrating its 27th edition this year—as the main business and real estate investment event in Spain and as a global benchmark platform for the residential and living sector. He will focus on strengthening its international presence and accelerating the development of new initiatives and strategic alliances.
The appointment follows the success of SIMA 2025, which attracted 21,000 visitors and featured 5,000 participating companies, 350 exhibitors, and 8,500 professionals and investors, with international participation from 35 countries—a momentum already reflected in SIMA 2026, which is currently registering record domestic and international bookings.
