SIMA Autumn Special a success in terms of attendance figures and business transactions
43,411 people attended the fair, which brought together 91 exhibitors and more than 400 promotions on offer.
[Madrid October 27, 2009] “We were expecting an excellent response, but the final results have surpassed even our most optimistic expectations” comments Eloy Bohúa, Director General at Planner Reed, the company that organised the SIMA Autumn Special. “SIMA has once again confirmed the fact that the market responds, that when a fair is able to generate a buzz around itself, then both exhibitors and the general public will seek it out. For that reason we are going to keep on organising SIMA specials in the future”.
In Bohúa’s opinion, the figures and degree of satisfaction on the part of the exhibiting undertakings justify this decision. “SIMA Autumn Special was the biggest and best real estate fair that Madrid has seen in the past two months. The greatest in terms of floor space taken up, 5,400sqm, in terms of exhibitors, 91, in terms of commercial opportunities, with more than 400 promotions, and in terms of attendance figures, at 43,411. And the best in terms of the variety of the products on offer, in terms of the quality of the general public who attended, in terms of the thousands of useful contacts made by the exhibitors, and in terms of the hundreds of deals that were closed during the four days that the fair was on.” For Planner Reed’s Director General, it is not just a question of numbers. “Though they are important, the figures do not, on their own, make an event a success. The opinions of our exhibitors are crucial and, in general, the feedback that we have gathered regarding the success of the fair has been extremely positive.”
